Camp Simmons is a 77-acre property located at 744 Lake Avenue. We offer an abundance of activities for members in this seasonal day camp.

Weekly Program Fee is $150 per child

Activities

Archery & Canoeing

Camp Simmons offers great instructional programs in archery and canoeing. Members learn by practicing their skills after demonstrations by instructors. Campers also show off their skills in competitions. Classes are offered daily by our state certified instructors.

Camp Simmons Special Events

Special events at Camp Simmons always have an outdoor flavor and include: camp competitions, theme days, and guest presenters. This year, campers will enjoy Funny Hat Day, a “Holiday Celebration in July” event, Soccer Olympics, and weekly fishing derbies.

Swimming

One of the most popular activities at Camp Simmons is swimming in the outdoor pool. On hot days, it’s great to lie out on the deck then cool off with a jump into the water! All campers get the chance to improve their swimming skills with lessons and enjoy leisurely swims with friends. All instructors are American Red Cross certified.

Sports at Camp Simmons

Sports are also popular during the summer and Camp Simmons has many to offer. The ball field is a great place for baseball, kickball, soccer and football. The basketball court is home for organized classes as well as pick-up games.

Additional programs offered include: arts and crafts, nature hikes, and volleyball. Younger campers always enjoy the playground!
